Residential solar has a credibility problem that most brands solve in the wrong direction. The default visual language of the sector - gradient greens, stock photography of rooftop panels, generic claims about the planet - signals commodity at exactly the moment a homeowner needs to feel confident in a significant financial decision.
Energy At Home (by Smart Commercial Energy) was entering the market with a technically strong product range and needed a site that could hold both registers: innovation-led enough to signal expertise, clear enough that a first-time solar buyer could move from curiosity to enquiry without hitting a wall of specifications.
The layout treats product education as the primary conversion path rather than a detour from it. Information architecture is built around the decision sequence a residential buyer actually follows - understanding the technology before evaluating the product, evaluating the product before requesting a quote - so each page advances that sequence rather than interrupting it with premature calls to action.
